Man Killed Following Auto Collision

Last updated on Thursday, November 27, 2008

(ANDERSON) - A Delaware County man was killed Wednesday after he allegedly rear-ended another vehicle.

Ronald Hendrickson died after being ejected from his vehicle.

Hendrickson and two passengers were riding in a Chevrolet Nova when they were approached from the rear by a Honda driven by 22-year-old Matthew Hanna of Anderson, the son of Madison County sheriff's deputy Sam Hanna.

Hendrickson pulled to the side of the road and waved Hanna by. As Hanna passed the vehicle, the Nova allegedly rammed into the rear-end of his vehicle. The Nova veered off the road and flipped in a nearby field.
