(UNDATED) - State police and other law enforcement agencies are putting more officers on the streets and highways for the rest of this month—hoping to make holiday travel safer.
They're already out there and they'll stay on patrol through November 30th, looking for speeders and drivers who make unsafe lane changes. The big rigs, too, will be watched--and troopers will conduct "driving under the influence" patrols.
State police remind us all that Indiana law requires all drivers and passengers to buckle up--and have children in proper restraints.
