(EVANSVILLE) - As many as 1,700 people are expected to receive a Christmas dinner on December 23rd at the Evansville Christian Life Center.
Volunteers will meet on the 20th and the 22nd to get ready for all those people baking hams and sorting and categorizing toys.
Each child who attends that day will get to take home a toy and each family will receive a five-pound ham they can have for dinner on Christmas day.
Life Center Spokeswoman Ginger Harper says they have plenty of volunteers signed up for the activities, but they could still need some help between 11:00am and 1:00pm on the 23rd.
