(LAFAYETTE) - A Crawfordsville teenager who admitted to causing a fatal two-vehicle crash will not spend time in prison.
18-year-old Tyler Sutton was driving classmates Megan Hinds and Jennah Smith home from Tippecanoe Mall last year when he ran a stop sign, and slammed into another vehicle. Hinds, Smith and the other driver were killed.
Sutton admitted to smoking marijuana about two weeks prior to the wreck.
Sutton will serve two years on work release and four years supervised probation.
