(MARKLE) - A few drivers on I-69 on Friday saw a shocking sight.
Five deer leapt to their deaths off the US-224 overpass and onto the northbound lanes of I-69 about 12:30pm Friday.
The last one went through the windshield of a tractor-trailer rig, but the driver was not injured.
The 25-foot fall killed all five deer, their carcasses scattered across the northbound lanes of I-69 about 20 miles southwest of Fort Wayne.
