(KOKOMO) - As the nation’s big 3 automakers go back to the federal table with their plan for solvency and hands out for a loan, Indiana automotive towns are watching their actions closely.
Kokomo Mayor Greg Goodnight says the effects would be far reaching if Congress does not support the auto industry, not only for automotive towns like his, but the entire U.S. economy.
Goodnight says he has written letters to both Indiana senators and the congressmen in his district to express the important role the auto industry plays.
