(UNDATED) - Hoosier poultry farmers are donating 38 tons of chicken, turkey, duck and eggs to their local food banks, two tons more than last year’s record total.
This year, 11 companies took part from industry giants Tyson and Perdue to the Berne Hi-Way Hatchery in Northeast Indiana.
The annual holiday donation began in 1947.
