Suspect Shot Dead By Employee During Robbery

(INDIANAPOLIS) - A man trying to rob an Indianapolis grocery store is dead this morning.

Police say he was shot by a store employee after he pointed his gun a customer holding a baby. It happened about nine o'clock last night.

The armed robber gathered everyone inside the store in one corner. A short time later, the employee fired his gun, critically injuring the robber.

The suspect was transported to the hospital and later died.
