(UNDATED) - Good news on the jobs front: the FBI is hiring.
There are currently 850 special agent openings and 2,100 staff positions available.
FBI Special Agent Wendy Osborne says the number of openings sounds high, but it's typical for the agency.
One reason for the turnover is the mandatory retirement age for special agents is 57.
If that job sounds attractive, Osborne says be aware that the agency's vetting process is very thorough and any agent hired in Indiana must relocate to an office outside of the state.
