(MONTICELLO) - Residents of the small town of Monticello are stunned after the murder of 67-year-old former teacher Judith Claypool.
Her body was found inside of her home by police Tuesday.
Very little information about her death has been released.
Investigators are only saying their appeared to be a home invasion at Claypool's residence.
The investigation into her murder was opened Monday when a resident reported finding Claypool's abandoned vehicle in their yard.
Anyone with information on the case is urged to contact the White County Sheriff's Department.
