Highway Workers Find Big Surprise In Ditch

(MOUNT COMFORT) - A big surprise for three highway workers on I-70.

They found a large truck tire in a ditch filled with wads of cash totaling over $100,000.

Police think it could be drug money.

The suspicious treasure was found along westbound I-70 and Mount Comfort road in Hancock County.

State police investigators say the cash was packed in a way that is consistent with how drug couriers transport money.
