(UNDATED) - Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and United Way of Central Indiana President and Chief Executive Officer Ellen Annala will launch the winter assistance fund drive today.
The pair will launch the program by accepting $620,000 dollars from eight local sources.
The start-up amount is nearly triple what was announced a year ago to help low-income individuals and families in Marion County.
