(SOUTH BEND) - Blowing and drifting snow contributed to several accidents late Saturday in Northern Indiana.
The most serious crash involved a head-on collision on U.S. 6 in Elkhart County.
At least one person was airlifted to the hospital but police haven't identified any of the victims.
15 to 25 mph winds are creating snow drifts along east-west routesin St. Joseph, Elkhart and Kosciusko counties.
