(INDIANAPOLIS) - A bill in the Indiana Senate would allow police to collect DNA from anyone arrested on a felony charge, rather than just those who are convicted.
The Journal Gazette of Fort Wayne reports that supporters say adding that DNA info to state and federal databases could help solve crimes and also potentially prevent them.
