(FORT WAYNE) - 50 workers are training this week to operate a center to help unemployed Hoosiers get their benefits in Fort Wayne.
The Department of Workforce Development says the adjudication facility next week will start addressing a backlog of filings for unemployment benefits.
Spokesperson Marc Lotter says DWD Commissioner Teresa Voors has visited with the 50 new workers, encouraging them to get benefits to unemployed Hoosiers as quickly as possible.
