(UNDATED) - Hoosier hunters bagged more than 129,000 deer during the 2008 hunting season according to the Department of Natural Resources.
That tops the previous record set in 2005 and marks the fifth straight season in which the total exceeded 120,000.
Steuben County ranked first for the number of deer taken in the state followed by Kosciusko, Noble and Marshall Counties.
