(GREENFIELD) - A mother and her two-year-old son were killed yesterday afternoon in an interstate crash in Hancock County.
Police say 25 year-old Crysten Butler and her son Jason died at the scene, about six miles east of the Greenfield exit on I-70.
Investigators say Butler's car crossed the median, was hit head-on, then pushed into the path of a semi, before falling ten feet into a drainage ditch.
One of the other drivers sustained critical injuries and was transported to Methodist Hospital.
