(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis police have just taken possession of more than $900,000 dollars in assets seized from international drug traffickers.
More than 30 defendants were charged by a federal grand jury in 1987 in Indianapolis, for more than 50 offenses.
Largely because one of 30 defendants, a man who went on the lam for ten years, reneged on a promise to turn over more than $3-million in assets held in a European bank.
