(UNION MILLS) - Authorities say no one was injured when a small plane crashed in northwestern Indiana’s Laporte County.
The South Bend Tribune reports that an Eagle Aircraft Training School flight instructor and a student were involved in the crash Sunday. The Laporte County sheriff's department says both refused treatment at the scene near Union Mills, about 50 miles southeast of Chicago.
The sheriff's department says the flight was headed from the flight school in Valparaiso to a private airstrip, where it crashed while attempting a maneuver.
