(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indiana health officials are creating opportunities for Hoosiers to learn as much as they can about the ongoing peanut recall.
The state health department has created a toll-free number for Hoosiers to call if they don't know what products have been recalled or have questions about the salmonella outbreak. The list has always been available online, but the number gives those without a computer another resource for information.
The recall list has grown to over 2,200 items and includes everything from peanuts and peanut butter, to products made with peanut paste and peanut meal.
The toll-free number,1-877-499-0017, will be available Monday through Friday from 8:15am to 4:45pm.
