(BROWNSBURG) - A woman was pinned in a vehicle in Brownsburg Wednesday after a large tree fell on the vehicle.
She was on the passenger side. The driver managed to get out.
Firefighters from Brownsburg, Avon and Plainfield used chain saws to cut her out of the vehicle. She was taken to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. No word on her condition.
Fire Spokesman Ryan Miller says they had several roads closed because of high water but a number of motorists ignored the signs and drove through anyway which, he says, is never a good idea.
One motorist got stuck... but managed to get through it before firefighters arrived.
