(INDIANAPOLIS) - At least 2,300 more jobs will be created thanks to a provision of the federal stimulus program that directs $132 million to Indiana.
The funds will go toward helping 30-thousand low-income Hoosiers households to become more energy-efficient.
It would also lower the average home's energy bill by $15 to $25 per month.
The funding will be spent over the next two years. Hoosiers who are eligible for the assistance must have already qualified for Indiana's energy assistance program.
