(BUTLER) - Governor Mitch Daniels along with officials of exterior door manufacturer Therma-Tru corporation announced the transfer of most of the company’s operations from Oklahoma to their facility in Butler, Indiana by the end of June.
The Ohio-based company currently employs 380 people in DeKalb County and is expected to add 150 more jobs in butler over the next two years.
The governor also says the Fort Wayne metro area will see an additional 50 jobs coming to the Edy's ice cream plant and 200 jobs at high-tech defense contractor BAE.
