(UNDATED) - Kids across Indiana are rallying today against tobacco as they join others from across the country to “Kick Butts.”
The 14th annual Kick Butts Day is sponsored by Tobacco-Free Kids and hundreds of events are planned nationwide. Students from the voice groups of Lebanon and Western Boone high schools are partnering with Witham Health Services organizing a cigarette butt cleanup on the grounds of Witham Hospital.
Events across the country are focusing on raising awareness about tobacco marketing to kids and the need for congress to pass legislation granting the FDA to regulate tobacco products.
