(UNDATED) - The Indiana State Department of Health is using World Tuberculosis Day to remind Hoosiers that the disease is still a major health issue more than 100 years after it was discovered.
Last year, there were 118 active cases and nine TB-related deaths in Indiana. 50 percent of those cases were reported in Allen, Lake and Marion counties.
