(CRAWFORDSVILLE) - Crawfordsville High School will be the place for 4th District Congressman Steve Buyer’s 9th annual Hoosier Job Fair within his district today.
The job fair will feature 96 businesses offering over 2800 job opportunities. Jobs are being offered in a variety of fields including healthcare, manufacturing, sales, retail, government, education, construction, and more.
Crawfordsville Mayor Charlie Coons says the job fair comes at a good time. His city alone has lost over a thousand jobs due to several company closures and downsizings. Crawfordsville is expected to draw about 5,000 people for the job fair from areas such as Lafayette, Frankfort, and Greencastle.
The Hoosier Job Fair will be held today from 9:00am to 3:00pm in the gym of Crawfordsville High School.
