(INDIANAPOLIS) - It’s spring break for many area school systems, and some Indianapolis football players have been spending it building a house.
Ben Davis High School football players spent a couple of days assembling panels for a Habitat for Humanity home, then turned out in 40-degree weather to put them up.
Coach Tom Meeker and two of his assistants pitched in with about 15 players.
Meeker says it's the second year the Giants have lent a hand to "Habitat" over spring break, but the first time they have worked at the build site itself.
Habitat says the home should be finished in about a month.
It's one of three habitat homes being built in the Southside Neighborhood this spring.
