(ANDERSON) - Anderson police are looking for the criminals who set fire to a church’s cross during Easter week.
It happened at St. Ambrose Church Wednesday.
Officers arrived to find the 10-foot cedar cross burned.
Father Bob Williams, who overseas St. Ambrose, says accelerant was used to set the cross ablaze.
He believes the suspect could face federal charges.
Anyone with information on the cross burning is urged to call Anderson Police.
