Sallie Mae To Bring Jobs Back From Overseas; Perhaps To Indiana?

(UNDATED) - Sallie Mae plans to add 2,000 new jobs in the US within the next 18 months.

Company officials say the positions are being created to help shift operations from overseas.

The private student lender declined to say where the new jobs are being created. Sallie Mae currently employs 2,300 workers in Castleton and Fishers.

700 people work for the company in Muncie.
