(UNDATED) - Drug stores are reporting a run on breathing masks, an apparent response to the warning about swine flu.
The masks were out of stock Tuesday afternoon at CVS stores in downtown Indianapolis. An assistant manager at one store says a new shipment was just delivered a few days ago and the store won't have any more until another shipment arrives next week.
Midway Dental Supply In Lakeville, Indiana supplies the masks to dentists and others such as tattoo shops and sculptors.
Customer service manager Jennifer Woods says she hasn't seen a big increase, but she's getting inquiries.
Woods says an artist called "looking for masks and also for surgical gloves because of the swine flu outbreak."
