(INDIANAPOLIS) - The number of cases of the H1N1 flu virus have grown to over 100 hundred here in the Hoosier state.
The Indiana State Department of Health is now reporting 9 new confirmed cases of the swine flu in Indiana.
The new cases showed up in three counties, with one new case in Hamilton County, three new cases in Lake County, and five new cases in Marion County.
Marion County now has a confirmed 53 cases of the virus, which is just over half of the cases reported in the state.
Lake County is the only other county with more than 10, it has 33.
Still no Hoosiers over the age of 65 have contracted the virus; however 70 people ages five to 24 have been confirmed to have the virus.
A total of 5 people in Indiana have been hospitalized because of the swine flu, however all have been treated and released, with no symptoms to speak of.
There are still no deaths in the state from the virus.
