(INDIANAPOLIS) - A Fifth Third Bank Assistant Manager is under arrest, accused of stealing money and setting a fire in the bank vault to cover his tracks.
It happened Wednesday at a bank on the northwest side of Indianapolis.
31-year-old Dwayne Roberts, who had apparently been stealing money from the bank for months, faces charges of arson and theft.
Police say Roberts set a box of money on fire in the vault, but he accidentally dropped his keys inside and closed the vault door.
He had no way out of the bank and had to call 911 for help.
