(INDIANAPOLIS) - A slight drop in Indiana’s unemployment rate.
The rate dropped in April a tenth of a point. It had been 10.0 in March.
The state unemployment rate in April is a full point above the national rate.
Neighboring states of Indiana are also higher than the 8.9 national rate.
Ohio is at 10.2, Kentucky sits at 9.8, and Illinois is 9.4.
But it's Indiana's northern neighbor, Michigan, that has the highest rate in the country.
The current rate in Michigan is 12.9.
