(INDIANAPOLIS) - Indianapolis resident Jeremy Warriner is taking his story to Washington where he will testify before the house judiciary committee.
He's hoping his story will help lawmakers realize Chrysler cannot let liability suits pending against the lawmaker disappear in bankruptcy court.
A defect in Warriner's Jeep Wrangler caused the vehicle to ignite in 2005.
He lost both legs above the knee as a result.
Warriner contends the automaker should continue to honor their liabilities through bankruptcy as the plan to honor vehicle warranties.
