(CUMBERLAND) - Lions Park in Cumberland has been reopened to the public after a pipe bomb exploded Sunday night in the park.
The area was searched by bomb-sniffing dogs.
The Cumberland Police Department says a second explosive device and bomb-making paraphernalia were also found and safely removed.
Investigators believe the first device may have exploded prematurely, possibly injuring its maker. They found a crater about a foot wide and an inch deep.
Anyone with information that could lead to an arrest is asked to call the Cumberland Police Department or Crimestoppers at 262-TIPS.
