(UNDATED) - As the warmer weather arrives, families are looking for cost effective ways to have fun in Indiana.
The Indiana Office of Tourism says there are several options out there for Hoosiers looking for a good time at a low cost.
Spokesman Curt Brantingham says Holiday World, Indiana Beach and the caves along the Ohio River are some of the most popular tourist destinations during the summer.
If you're looking for something a little different, Brantingham suggests checking out Indiana's three new wine trails.
He expects the poor economy to have a small impact on the state tourism industry, keeping Hoosiers who would normally travel home.
Brantingham encourages people to look for coupons and discounts online at www.visitindiana.com.
