9-Year-Old Set On Fire By Middle Schoolers

(HAMMOND) - Hammond authorities are investigating a possible hate crime involving a 9-year-old Gary boy.

Joshua Judkins suffered burns while apparently playing with three boys.

The boys, ages 15, 14 and 13 turned themselves in Friday, each stating Judkins caught fire accidentally.

However, the boy's mother says her son was the victim of a "hate crime."
