(UNDATED) - Anti-smoking advocates are praising the Obama Administration for bringing some regulation to the tobacco industry.
President Barack Obama signed the law giving the Food and Drug Administration authority over tobacco.
The act includes required full disclosure of product ingredients and larger package warning labels.
Karla Sneegas with Indiana Tobacco Prevention and Cessation says the legislation allows for the exchange of more information to enhance education on the true harmful nature of the products.
