(UNDATED) - A pair of studies released Thursday indicates the shift to a clean-energy economy would create 1.7 million jobs, 38,000 of them in Indiana.
It also says nearly half of the new jobs created by a clean energy economy be accessible to workers with relatively low levels of formal education.
The study was produced by a University of Massachusetts Think Tank and three advocacy groups to reverse the perception of a green energy economy being too cost prohibitive.
