(STATEHOUSE) - Governor Daniels says he believes many house democrats would vote for senate republicans’ budget if given the chance, and is assailing speaker Patrick Bauer for not allowing the opportunity.
Daniels and lieutenant governor Becky Skillman spent last week visiting a dozen cities, and slamming Bauer for what the governor contends are efforts to "bully" republicans into accepting a budget that spends too much.
