(CROWN POINT) - A former president of the Crown Point School Board has pleaded guilty to eight felony counts in connection with 58 securities-related charges filed more than four years ago.
As part of a plea agreement with prosecutors, Daniel Swift agreed to pay more than $423,000 in restitution to his victim as well as serve eight years in a work release facility.
He will also serve an eight-year suspended sentence of probation.
