(UNDATED) - Drivers along interstate 65 in Tippecanoe, Clinton, White and Boone counties will have to pack some patience.
That's because INDOT is about to start its construction of cable barriers along a 23-mile highway stretch.
In early spring, the state awarded a $2.8 million dollar contract for the cable barriers.
INDOT decided to add them after a study showed how effective they were on stretches of I-65 and I-69.
