(INDIANAPOLIS) - A bailout for Indy’s Capital Improvement Board isn’t dead yet, despite failing to make it out of committee in the house.
Senate republicans plan to insert a revised CIB plan into the budget.
And democratic house speaker Patrick Bauer agrees it's a high priority.
But he says it'll take at least 10 republican votes to pass it in the house, maybe 20 or 25.
Bauer says the final plan will have to avoid any significant tax burden outside Marion County, and not be "anti-worker."
