(STATEHOUSE) - Democrats and Republicans agree on one critical issue as they try to craft a budget: the need to hang onto a billion dollars in reserves.
But they disagree on whether democrats’ proposed spending plan does the job.
House Republicans charge Democrats’ one-year budget have proposed 443-million dollars in unfunded new spending, with a second year still to be filled in.
