(NEW ALBANY) - A lawsuit brought by two women against the Harrison County Sheriff has been settled.
The suit claimed sheriff Mike Deatrick sexually harassed the women when they worked for the County Sheriff's Department and retaliated against them after they filed a complaint.
A consent decree was filed Monday in US District Court in New Albany proposing to settle the case and another suit filed by the US Justice Department in March.
