(INDIANAPOLIS) - The subject of a nationwide manhunt is under arrest in Indianapolis.
The FBI Wednesday located a man suspected of gunning down a Chicago resident in September 2008 outside a fast food restaurant on the city's south side.
Special agent Wendy Osborne says 28-year-old Akee Walton was taken into custody without incident.
Authorities found him there after investigating a tip that he was staying with a relative.
Walton was charged earlier by Cook County authorities with first degree murder for the shooting death of Isaiah Walker.
He's now awaiting extradition to Chicago.
