(HOBART) - The woman who was babysitting her two year-old niece is one of two people behind her death according to the Lake County prosecutor.
Murder charges were filed on Friday against 18 year-old Engelica Castillo and her 24 year-old boyfriend, Tim Tkachik, both of Hobart.
Court documents revealed Castillo and Tkachik took two year-old Jada Justice with them on a heroin run but noticed the child wasn't breathing.
An autopsy later revealed justice had suffered several skull fractures.
They allegedly disposed of her body by burning it, encasing it in concrete and burying it in a swamp in Otis, Indiana.
The body was found on Thursday.
Castillo had told investigators the girl was abducted from a convenience store parking lot on June 16.
