(UNDATED) - Marcus Schrenker will change his plea to guilty today in a Pensacola, Florida Federal Court.
According to court documents, the Fishers financial advisor will plead guilty to destroying his aircraft and issuing a false distress signal causing the Coast Guard to respond when no help is needed.
His court appearance is scheduled for 11 a.m. Schrenker attempted to fake his own death by crashing his plane in the Florida panhandle last January.
He was eventually arrested at a campsite near Quincy, Florida.
After his sentencing in Florida, Schrenker is expected to be extradited to Indiana to face additional charges of bilking his investors out of thousands of dollars.
