(STATEHOUSE) - Democrats are grumbling that Governor Daniels jumped the gun on one spending decision.
The state sent nearly 600-million dollars in federal stimulus money to schools this month, freeing up that much in state money for the new budget.
Democrats have complained the legislature had an understanding with Daniels that the general assembly would approve stimulus spending.
Senate Minority Leader Vi Simpson wants Daniels to confirm the state money will still be available.
