(STATEHOUSE) - Four official negotiators and 13 legislative advisors are negotiating at the statehouse today in the hopes of presenting a budget for a vote when the house and senate reconvene tomorrow (Monday) afternoon.
A budget must pass by midnight Tuesday to avert a government shutdown.
The house and senate first must agree whether to write a budget covering one year or two.
Beyond that, the two biggest hurdles are school funding and health funding.
